Dubuque: Two new tenants for Kennedy Mall

Steve and Barry's University Sportswear will be moving into the vacant Walgreens location and probably the old musicland as well.

J.B. Robinson Jewelers will be going into the spot vacated by suncoast which will make three jewelers around the fountain. This will be the company's first Iowa store.

At this point I'd like to beg GK Development to continue their Iowa shopping spree and take Kennedy off of Carafo's hands. The mall needs some work and our current owner isn't going to do it.

Steve and Barry's have just opened an few locations in Chicagoland, but I didn't have an chance to go into an store. Also went to IKEA in Bolingbrook, an sothwest suburb of Chicago today. It's an great store.

Dick's sporting goods is coming to Kennedy mall this fall. The story will be occupying the former Walgreens and presumably several adjacent store fronts.
