- In late 2008, it was announced that a Park Place Hyatt hotel will occupy floors 4-8 of the Liberty Building
- Renovation and conversion of the 12-story Liberty Building into a mix of upscale condo housing units and office space
- Top six floors of the building will be converted into 30 condos ranging in size from 1,700 to 2,500 sq. ft.
- 60,000 sq. ft. of the bottom portion of the Liberty Building will remain as office space, receiving a $3 million dollar makeover
